FP3 just closed and this session has been revealing. 

FP3 started with a long run simulation for Haas with hard tyres. Ferrari instead did some laps on soft tyres with Lewis Hamilton. Ocon complained about a lot of bouncing in T12, saying that he couldn’t go flat out in that corner because of this. The grip was quite bad compared to the grip we saw in FP2 and that’s because the temperature was lower than yesterday. 

Mclaren waited a lot before coming out but immediately took the first place with an incredible lap on softs by Norris, giving one second to Hamilton. Then Piastri arrived to confirm his ability by taking first place from Norris’ hands. 

The second half of the session started with Hulkenberg having a problem with his Kick, and for this finished his free practice earlier. Max Verstappen, Who remained silent for the most of the practice, at the half of the session did a good lap with softs, staying between the McLarens. Leclerc lost his left mirror while doing his lap, forcing him to stop to the boxes. Mercedes did a run with medium tyres. Russell spinned on track during his run in T10. Alonso did some pretty good laps on softs, staying between the McLarens and the Ferraris. 

The session also showed an incredible work from Gasly and Hadjar, showing a good quali pace. The session ended with the two McLarens doing another 1-2, making clear that they are going to fight for the win. Leclerc finished third, with a gap of almost nine tenths. Mercedes finished P4 for Russell and P5 for Antonelli. Seems like the italian driver has found the rhythm, staying close to his teammate. Seems like this Bahrain GP is going to be dominated by the orange team. Are they going to destroy the others in the race? We will have to wait for sunday to see it.
