Quali report Australian GP— lights out in Melbourne, for the first round of the 2025 Formula One World Championship. A new season with many new faces and many changes across the grid. We see the first quali with Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari and Carlos Sainz in Williams, for a new era in Formula One.
Q3: Out the rookies.
During the Q3, out: Antonelli, Bearman, Ocon, Lawson and Hülkenberg. Some of the rookies are out, showcasing how sometimes the lack of experience might be crucial to bringing home another round in the qualifying session.
Bearman faced issues with the racing car, being unable to race for maybe not the best season start for the F1 driver.
Q2: Out Alonso.
For the second round: Hadjar, Alonso, Stroll, Doohan, and Bortoleto, are out of the last dance to get the pole position for the incoming feature race.
Q1: is the poleman.
The poleman of the weekend is Lando Norris.
After the first quali round we will see starting in 2nd position Oscar Piastri and in 3rd position Max Verstappen. Not the best weekend for Ferrari with a 7-8 start.
